CREATION OF AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
We are continuously assessing new business opportunities in Latam’s agricultural sector. We identify business opportunities, evaluate and design them from a technical, financial, and commercial perspective to be further presented to potential investors.
FARM DEVELOPMENT
We develop each project from its initial stage, taking care of all the farm implementation, including project team, organizational structure, selection of fruit variety, land preparation, design and installation of the irrigation system, genetics and nursery, plantation, and all related tasks.
FARM MANAGEMENT
We have a multidisciplinary team with more than 20 years of experience and the necessary expertise to manage farms and maximize profitability. Farm management considers daily management of all farm tasks, including technical matters, water sources and its use, labor sources, irrigation, fertilization, harvest, safety, among others.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING
We comply with the highest levels of reporting for institutional investors, including:
• Monthly and annual Financial Statements under IFRS
• Audited Financial statements by one of the big 4 companies.
• Monthly Management Reports including:
– Financial statements reported on the first three weeks of the month.
– Monthly Management Report to investors explaining main drivers of the business.
Our team makes a solid monitoring of the financial aspects as we carefully mind (and oversee) each project’s financing, seeking for the best financial alternatives and structure (equity and debt) for each of them.
ESG
As ESG is in the heart of our business, we have developed an ESG strategy for ASM and all the farms we manage. We support each farm with the implementation of this strategy, including sustainability, relations with local communities and corporate governance matters.
FRUIT TRADING
Through El Parque Group, our commercial platform, we pack and commercialize the fruit and deliver the best returns to the farms we manage. El Parque has positioned itself as an important and long-term fresh product provider for most retailers and receivers in all relevant markets, supplying fruit 365 days a year.
